Nice Ending To A Nice Run

Holy smokes . . . two posts in one day! Just got home from a nice 6.4-miler with Joe. A very cool and windy fall run up through Arnot Forest with only one vehicle sighting on the forest roads and one vehicle sighting on the road outside of the forest on the way home. What an absolutely beautiful run with a nice recovery drink of hot chocolate after. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better . . . I look out in the back yard and there is my little buck enjoying what's left of the apples from our trees! Usually it's him and his momma and sister who are out there, but he was on his own this time. So I just sat and watched him . . .
